Né de la rencontre en 2007 du MC new-yorkais Eli Finberg aka Mr. E et du musicien Nicolas Schmidt, Blockstop développe un style éclectique et novateur, évoluant entre hip-hop, black music et jazz. Blockstop s'est déjà produit à de nombreuses reprises sur des scènes de musiques actuelles, de jazz et de festival, dont notamment les Francofolies de La Rochelle en 2011. Un nouvel album est en cours.
